Bobby is a decorated, disabled Vietnam War veteran, during 1966-67. He first came to Huntsville, AL while still in the US Army in early 1970, assigned at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
February 1971, while stationed at Redstone Arsenal, AL, he wrote and recorded, “Huntsville Lights”, a simple song about the true-life circumstances in combination with the night life of Huntsville. Today after over 48 years “Huntsville Lights” is still one of the most popular and requested songs on local radio stations, and YouTube.
Bobby’s music career expanded during that time even while in the US Army, entertaining troops through the Far East and Europe. After separation from the military in 1975, Bobby performed at State Fairs, and musical events in California, Texas, Arizona, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
Bobby dropped out from performing on the road several years ago and concentrated on his prior military career to enable him to be appointed a federal civil service position with Space & Missile Defense Command, Redstone Arsenal, AL.
He wanted to be closer to his family and pursue a sound foundation toward retirement. That decision paid off in 2008 after 32 years of government service where Bobby was awarded several meritorious medals and letters of honor. Since then, Bobby has teamed with award winning producer, John Florez of Phoenix, AZ and records Nashville, TN.
Bobby has a unique stage presence, he simply takes command of any stage and all who goes to here him. He is highly professional, respecting all who attends with style, grace and gutsy charm and an infectious smile.
Bobby records at Hill Top Studios, and uses only the best studio musicians in Nashville.
